Hello Everyone,
We hope that this finds each one of you, your families and friends
well and safe during a time that is uncertain. While more then anything, we
wish that school and life could continue in a manner that is more familiar, your
health and safety must come first. This
is why those in charge have canceled physical classes in schools until it is
decided it will be safe to resume them in person. The board and the province
will be making all the decisions regarding how education will be going forward. Please know that in whatever form your
education will take during this state of emergency, we are still your teachers
and we will do everything within our power to ensure you receive all of the
education and support that you require and deserve.
We have spoken many times in class about how we build and maintain
a community that supports everyone. Much of the time this requires kindness and
personal sacrifice. Right now the
community is asking us to be kind to others and to sacrifice our normal
routines by staying home. We talked about “flattening the curve” and why this
is important. We also talked about
physical distancing. One way you all are
helping is by staying at home. While
doing this we are also being asked to be patient and wait for decisions to be
made about instruction and learning so that we are all working together.
However Spring break is still a thing. Please take these two weeks
as the break that you would have had anyway. Please take care, and as always
please feel free to be in contact via email. We will do our best to answer with
whatever information we have.
We miss you and
as always; Wash Your Hands J
Kind Regards,
